MediTek Deluxe stairlifts offer a complete solution when operated with the automated footrest, powered seat swivel, power or manual folding hinge track and bridging platform to maximise ease of use and safety. - Control of your stairlift can be effected either by the user-friendly joystick on the arm of the stairlift, or remotely, by means of an infra-red hand-held controller.
- All MediTek Stairlifts feature folding armrests, seats and footrest, and for those customers who may find bending down to lift the footrest difficult then MediTek again has come up with a novel option to help, a linked footrest. This simple unobtrusive solution allows the footrest to be lifted with the seat with ease and comfort.
- An easy-to-use swivel chair is offered as standard. At the flick of a lever, the chair can be manoeuvred into the 45° or 85° position and back again, to allow for safe and easy access to and from the stairlift.
- The powered swivel chair is the ultimate choice for comfort and freedom of movement on the stairlift. At the touch of a switch the user is able to move into the parked swivelled position with total ease.
- MediTek's unique battery charging system overcomes the need for trailing cables by providing a continuous charging source irrespective of wherever the stairlift is "parked". This ensures that the battery pack is maintained fully charged at all times.
- MediTek stairlifts use safe, low voltage battery power (24V DC) that ensures continued operation in the event of a temporary power outage. Simple connection to a convenient domestic power socket overcomes the need for a disruptive installation.
- Subtly located in the covers of the MediTek Stairlift is a digital display that shows clearly either how the lift is functioning, or invaluable diagnostic information in the unlikely event of a fault.
- The MediTek stairlift features a Constant Pressure Safety System (CPSS) to provide unprecedented levels of safety for any user or non-user who may come into contact with the stairlift. The CPSS sensors continuously monitor all of the leading surfaces of the carriage and footrest to assess whether a risk of interference exists. If an obstruction is encountered, the CPSS activates emergency controlled braking. This unique feature ensures true peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that you, and your family, are secure.
