Liftability recently received an order for a stairlift for Five Rivers Indoors Bowls Club in Salisbury, Wiltshire for a new Stannah 260 stairlift with Siena seat. The stairlift would be used to improve accessibility to the changing rooms and meeting area for the clubs members with disabilities.

Treasurer Jack Stone said

“we are very pleased with the installation, performance and cost of the new stairlift. Kevin Dalley (the surveyor) and the fitters were very obliging and we hope for a long association.
In terms of practicality, the Five Rivers Indoor Bowls Club has always had an internal staircase to our first floor viewing area overlooking the bowling green, ladies changing rooms and eating area. The stairs prove a barrier to many of the older bowlers and obviously to the disabled.
Our aim as a Community Amateur Sports Club is to provide bowling for all abilities and ages with no discrimination to the disabled. With the aid of recent Sport England Lottery (Inspired Facilities) funding and the ingenuity of Liftability, we are now fully accessible to all to enjoy bowling in Salisbury.”

Jack is so pleased with the installation that he’s even offered to provide use of the stairlift for anyone in the Salisbury area thinking about ordering a stairlift.
